Interactive Displays Connect Congregation to Missionaries
CorpComm recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Westover Church (Greensboro, NC) to bring three years of dreams and planning to fruition with the production two high tech display walls.
The displays are interactive centers which connect the congregation at Westover to a host of ministry projects being conducted around the world by Westover, as well as ministry projects in their own backyard. The Walls support eye-catching graphics plus numerous interactive screens and computer terminals. The interactive capabilities give church members immediate and direct access to detailed information about ministry projects.
"The creation and production of the interactive displays was the ideal project for CorpComm because it was an opportunity to utilize all of our services in a new way," says CorpComm President, Tim Stuckey. "We were able to use our knowledge of Web technology, graphic design, multimedia programming and video production to develop an exciting concept that will be a source of information and inspiration to the church congregation for years to come," said Stuckey.
Located in a large commons area just outside of Westover’s Main Worship Center, the displays have four interactive touch screen computer terminals providing a variety of on-line, video and multimedia information. A group of church volunteers frequently updates the displays with new photographs, news stories, videos, and graphics to keep the congregation coming back for more. Web Site Created by CorpComm Group
Earns Award
CorpComm Group is proud to announce a Web site we created and continue to maintain for INTEGRIS Heart Hospital, (Oklahoma City, OK) received an e-Healthcare Leadership Gold Award for Best Healthcare Content in the hospital sub-sites/centers of excellence category. The awards program was developed by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends, a leading Internet resource published by Health Care Communications (Rye, NY). The awards were announced at the Tenth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference held in Atlanta on November 6.
Judges reviewed more than 1,100 entries and selected winners of platinum, gold, silver and distinction awards in 12 different categories. Judges compared Web sites within each category and used a proprietary point system to determine Internet excellence. Mark Gothberg, eHealthcare Leadership Awards chairman says, “It was particularly difficult for judges to choose among competing sites, especially in such hotly contested categories as best health content, best design and best overall site.” A complete list of the winners is available at: www.strategichealthcare.com. For more information, about the Web services we offer, visit www.corpcommgroup.com or contact Chris McClellan, IT Director, at 419-227-4051 x 109.CorpComm Salutes CompAir
CompAir, the world’s leading manufacturer of industrial and commercial air compressors, was awarded the Private Company Turnaround of the Year 2006 by the Society of Turnaround Professionals (STP). CorpComm Group has a longstanding relationship with CompAir USA, the North American affiliate of the company. To help share the news of CompAir’s award, locally as well as internationally, CorpComm Group released a press release through an Internet PR service, who distributed the announcement to a variety of industry news sites (from industrial manufacturing to pharmaceutical to automotive). The press release was also picked up by Google News and Yahoo News.
Why issue an Internet press release? Consider this: Virtually every business has a news section on their Web site, but in order to read that news, web visitors must first find the site and the news section. By distributing a press release across the Web, you’re sharing your newsworthy stories with a much larger and broader audience. Plus, the press release can ultimately become a marketing tool when anyone wanting to know more about your organization links back to your Web site. To learn more about distributing a press release through an Internet PR distribution service, contact Eric Siebeneck at 419-227-4051 x 110. |
